RPM resource openssh. SSH (Secure SHell) is a program for logging into and executing commands on a remote machine. SSH is intended to replace rlogin and rsh, and to provide secure encrypted communications between two untrusted hosts over an insecure network. Unless there is a specific RPM for a higher AIX version than V5.1 available you are always safe to use the AIX5L V5.1 version. AIX has excellent binary compatibility and therefore I intentionally use a rather early level of AIX5L V5.1 to build my packages. They should all run on later AIX versions with no problems.
